Solid Carbide End Mills run at extremely impressive speeds as well as have an excellent feed rates. In some cases, these end mills can be ran three times faster than any other HSS end mills. Using solid carbide end mills result in better surface finishes on the workpiece and have an extended tool life over HSS and cobalt end mills.
