Ingersoll Rand BA Air Balancers
Overview
The Ingersoll Rand (BA) Series (Zimmerman) pneumatic balancers operate without pendant controls, making them ideal for single-load suspending applications. They allow loads to be held at a fixed height or manually raised, lowered, and positioned (“floated”) using both hands. With virtually no resistance or perceived weight, operators can maneuver loads effortlessly.
Equipped with a self-relieving regulator, the balancer automatically adjusts airflow to lift, lower, and suspend the load at the desired height. The regulator can also be fine-tuned to gradually raise a load out of the operator’s way. Designed primarily for suspending and positioning constant-weight items, the BA Series balancer enhances precision, control, and efficiency in various applications.
